My Experience with Ourdream Chat

Ourdream-ai

Ourdream Chat gives me the impression of joining a conversation that was already in progress.

Choose your avatar, start the chat, then… boom! You are not just writing to a program, you are responding to someone. The person or avatar replies back to you, often with a personality and even an attitude. And that’s when the fun starts.

Ourdream Chat is all about engaging, “adult” conversations that you control. You are not just reading a dialogue between characters, you are actively influencing the conversation.

One question I asked myself during this review was: will my avatar get old and boring within 5 minutes?

My answer to this was… not really.

A comprehensive guide of how to use Ourdream Chat

Looking at the images, the chatbot appears to have the following flow:

  • Select a character from the list
  • click through their profile
  • initiate conversation
  • then sign in.

It’s fairly standard. You can explore the platform for a bit before they pique your interest and then slap a login page on you just as you’re getting curious.

Step 1: Browse and Choose a Character

Step 1 Browse and Choose a Character

This is the discovery screen. Think of it as the place where you browse your AI companions of choice and decide who you want to get to chat with.

What you’ll see on the gallery screen

In the center, you have a wide promotional banner that features the words:

75% SPRING SALE

Beneath that is a search field and a list of categories. Below are a variety of character cards featuring preview photos, characters names, ages, descriptions, and stats.

The arrow in the image above is on one of the character cards, clearly illustrating that the first step is choosing a character.

Here are the features you can see on this screen.

  1. The Promotional Banner

The banner at the top of the page with a photo of a model features the text:

75% SPRING SALE

What this does

This is a promotional banner and does not have anything to do with the chat experience. However, it shows us that the site is currently offering discounts on plans or premium access.

  1. Search Bar

The search field that appears beneath the banner has placeholder text of the following type:

Try “Busty blonde” or “Petite asian”

What this does

The search feature lets you search for characters by body type, style, and keywords.

When to use this search

You can use this feature when you’re:

  • looking for a specific type of character;
  • looking to skip searching the entire gallery; and
  • looking for an easy way to find exactly the right character for you.
  1. Categories

Beneath the search field is a variety of character categories and sub-genres. Visible categories include the following:

  • Teen
  • Asian
  • Latina
  • Blonde
  • Busty
  • Submissive
  • Dominant
  • BDSM
  • Romantic
  • Slow Burn
  • Athletic
  • Caring

What this does

Browsing categories narrow the character list down by type, genre, body type, type of personality, or style of relationship.

What is important

This is one of the most valuable tools you have because it allows you to sort through a massive grid.

  1. Character Cards

The feature grid below contains multiple character cards. Some of the characters visible here include:

  • Viktoria Petrova, 25
  • Lucille Vane, 35
  • Freyja Morgan, 18

Each of the character cards features:

  • an enlarged photo of the character’s headshot
  • the characters name and age
  • short descriptive text
  • a creators handle
  • likes and views information

What is important

The card is more than just a picture and description of the character. It’s a mini profile of what awaits you if you chat with them.

  1. Stats and Creator Information

Below each character is some type of engagement data, like:

  • likes
  • views
  • creator handles such as @novemberxvi or @care4live1

What this does

This gives you an idea of how popular the character is, and whether the profile is tied to a creator. The engagement statistics can serve as social proof that other people have chosen the character, and it’s an indication of a well-developed, and active profile.

How to get to step 1

  • Open the gallery
  • Try the search bar if you know what you’re looking for
  • Use the category tags to refine the results
  • Take a look at the cards displayed
  • Select the character you’d like

Step 2: Open the Character Profile

Step 2 Open the Character Profile

The first action is clicking on a card to open the profile view. This is the “pause and inspect” step; instead of viewing the catalog as a whole, you now hone your focus onto one particular character.

Profile screen content

This is the pop-up profile view for:

Freyja Morgan, 18

Near the top, you can find the character’s name, age, and a brief description, along with tags and profile/share statistics. Then there is a larger main image, creator details, and the two prominent buttons at the bottom:

  • Generate
  • Chat

The arrow is pointing to Chat and indicates this to be your next step.

Profile screen features

  1. Character name and age Located in the top-left corner of the modal is:

Freyja Morgan, 18

What this feature does This is the section that lets you know exactly what profile you’re currently viewing.

  1. Character description Underneath the character name is a snippet of a scenario describing the character.

What this feature does This feature will give you the details on how the character is set up, the tone of the character, and the narrative style of the bot.

Why this feature is important Here’s where you get an idea of the type of response to expect from this character in the future.

  1. Profile and share stats At the top is a set of stats you will recognize: Profile a number such as 992 Share What this feature does These stats likely show the amount of profile
  • interactions
  • shares
  • views as a result, this feature provides some level of social proof to indicate if this character is currently in high demand.
  1. Character tags

Beneath the summary are multiple tags such as:

  • Teen
  • Small Tits
  • Small Ass
  • +8 more

What this does

These tags are an at-a-glance list of appearance or thematic elements associated with the character.

Why this is important

Tags help potential users identify whether they think a profile is their type, without needing to read a full bio.

  1. Main profile image and carousel arrows

The middle of the profile consists of a large image of the character. On the left and right are left and right arrows. What this does

There are likely multiple images associated with the profile. How to use

Click the left and right arrows to preview additional images for this character. Once you find something interesting, you can choose to chat.

  1. Creator Information

Below the main image you will find:

  • creator avatar
  • creator handle: novemberxvi
  • stats such as 1.5m interactions, and 332 followers
  • Follow

What this does

Character profiles may belong to a specific creator.

Why this is important

You might enjoy a specific creator. If so, follow them to explore more of their work.

  1. Generate

In the bottom left of the profile is Generate.

What this likely does

This likely links to other images or media related to the character.

As you’re chatting, it isn’t going to be your primary button, for now.

  1. Chat

On the right side is a large pink Chat button. The arrow in the above screenshot is pointing to it directly.

What it does

This opens a chat with the character.

How to Finish Step 2

  • Open Character
  • Read Bio, Check Tags
  • View More Pics if You Like
  • Then Click Chat.

Step 3: Start Chatting

Step 3 Start Chatting

Here we have the main screen for interacting.

Once you click Chat, you go from browsing to the actual conversation.

What you see on the chat screen

This screenshot depicts:

  • a chat background with the character image in the background
  • the time
  • the main message bubble that has an RP-style response
  • the refresh/regenerate button
  • the star rating
  • the bar for suggested reply
  • the message input bar
  • the send button
  • the microphone/voice icon

The arrows direct the user to:

  • the message box
  • the send button

So, this indicates that the next logical thing for the user to do here is read the RP response that came back from the bot and reply to it.

Chat screen features

  1. Balance / coin balance

Top left shows a pill containing:

Left: 5 dreamcoins

This is the available credit.

This is a limited resource: you can probably only use it a specific number of times before the service stops working unless you pay or register.

  1. Free Sign Up button

Top right shows pink:

SIGN UP FREE

with additional text below:

+50 (possibly)

This lets you quickly register. Likely offers free coins or credits if you sign up.

  1. Timestamp

Text above the message bubble:

Shows when the message was sent.

Makes it feel more like a dynamic chat instead of one static block of content.

  1. Message bubble (roleplay style) / chat reply

Main black text block:

Large story-style reply

This is the answer the bot gives you.

This bot does more than just reply short text answers; it generates more like a roleplay story or narrative. So instead of just “Hi”, you might want to type more descriptive text.

  1. Regenerate (R) button

Left below the message bubble:

Circular icon (arrow)

Clicking this regenerates the latest response.

Use when:

  • you don’t like the answer
  • you feel it’s off
  • you want to try another variation

It’s quite helpful. Sometimes the first response is not the best one.

  1. Star Rating row

Left of regenerate button (next to it):

Rows of stars

This looks like a star rating system for your answer.

Probably used to rate responses / quality and maybe teach the model or help it improve.

  1. Suggestion bar

Above your input field, in pink:

suggested reply:

followed by a sentence suggestion

Suggestion / example answer to help you get started if you’re stuck.

It can help you:

  • to move the conversation forward
  • don’t know what to write
  • you want to answer quickly
  1. Your input area

Bottom of screen:

Send a message

Where you enter your message.

The main thing you use to reply back.

  1. Send icon

Right end of suggestion bar (pink):

Paper plane icon

The arrow in the pic is pointing right at it.

This is how you send a message or pick the suggestion.

  1. Voice input (mic) icon

Bottom right pink round button with:

mic symbol

This probably enables voice input / voice commands.

You can probably talk to the bot instead of typing if you want. Just no proof of that in screenshots so far.

How to finish Step 3

  1. View the chatbot’s most recent response
  2. Choose whether to write a response yourself or select from the recommended reply
  3. Input your message
  4. Click the send button
  5. Optionally, hit the refresh button to have the chatbot create a different answer to its most recent response
  6. Keep the dialog going

Best ways to get better replies

ApproachLikely result
One-word repliesFlatter, less interesting conversation
Detailed repliesMore context-rich responses
Using suggested replyFast continuation
Regenerating weak outputsBetter variation

One trick to keep in mind: if a response seems wrong or doesn’t quite make sense, let it go. Just click the refresh button and give it another shot. That’s what the icon is for!

Step 4: Sign Up to Continue

Step 4 Sign Up to Continue

After that, the site stops you from using it and shows you a pop-up asking to sign up. The image labeled 4th is what that popup looks like. This is what it says: “SIGN UP FOR FREE 1,000,000+ AI companions are waiting for you.” You have two options, “Continue with Google” and “Continue with email”. Under those buttons, they show you what features you can try, like:

  • Roleplay Chat
  • Voice Calls
  • Video Generation
  • Custom Images

Finally, at the bottom, you have to agree you are over 18 and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Features on the signup modal

  1. Continue with Google: The quickest method for registration.
  2. Continue with email: A manually entered registration method.
  3. Feature icons: A representation of the features you can access, which include:
    • chat
    • voice
    • video
    • images Essentially, this section serves as a reminder to the user that they are being asked to enter these features on the backend.
  1. Terms and age confirmation: These elements serve to remind the user that, upon account creation, they are consenting to the website’s Terms of Service and confirming their age.

How to complete Step 4

  1. Quickest Method
    • Press the button to Continue with Google
    • Go through the sign-in process
    • Back in the chat window
  1. Manual Method
    • Press the button to Continue with email
    • Fill in your details
    • Finish registering

Final Thoughts

This chatbot’s flow is very solid (browsing, viewing, chatting, sign-up), as it encourages the user to build up some interest first before asking them to create an account. The best-looking parts of the interface are:

  • the searchable gallery of characters
  • the detail profile modal
  • the chat screen and its refresh + suggestion replies
  • the sign-up wall that offers a clear path to proceed

The ideal experience, I think, falls into these patterns:

  • Choose a character you like the sound of from its description
  • View their profile before starting the chat to get a sense of their personality
  • Respond with a sentence or more in the chat

The conversation usually feels much more engaging if you’re more interested in the character.
