Catalyzing change in the healthcare innovation ecosystem

You know the problem: Healthcare innovation is complex, expensive, and risky. That holds back progress, limits investment to specialists with deep pockets, and slows new ideas on their way to healthcare impact. M+Visión changes that.

The Madrid–MIT M+Visión Consortium, founded in 2010 by Comunidad de Madrid, has built an ecosystem that strategically identifies compelling healthcare innovation opportunities and develops new technologies to answer them—better, faster. Our key assets are an international, multidisciplinary community, and our unique innovation method IDEA3.

M+Visión produces more than innovative healthcare technologies. By helping people to think and work differently—helping them to make more strategic decisions—M+Visión is helping people and organizations maximize their innovation potential. This is transforming the people and organizations in the healthcare innovation ecosystem to enhance their power to make lasting change.

The core Catalyst and Converter programs are built around IDEA3 and involve dozens of organizations in high-impact research initiatives. In its first four years, M+Visión has achieved a rate of productivity competitive with top international benchmarks.

If you share our drive to accelerate and improve the impact of healthcare innovation, we invite you to join us. Together we can find the opportunities, design the solutions, and make it better.

“When you start from the problem, instead of from the solution [technology], if your project works out, you are guaranteed to make an impact. This is the approach repeatedly reinforced through IDEA3.”Daryl Lim, 2011 Catalyst Fellow
